Our Story
How It Began
March 2014
It all started with a phone call and a trip that would change our lives forever.
June 2014
The trip was incredible, but unfortunately, it had to come to an end. Little did we know that this was only the beginning.
January 2015
Kim and I became great friends throughout the years. We had so much fun together and no matter what, we had each other’s backs. She even offered me a full-time design job!
October 2016
A new opportunity presented itself and we (Kim, Alan, Ethan and Izzy) decided to move to Hoboken and become roommates. This was another huge life-changing milestone we got to experience together.
December 2017
What seemed like an ordinary night-out with friends, suddenly became the official start of Kim and Alan!
October 2018
Kim, Alan and Izzy moved to Secaucus!
March 2020
Together, we survived working from home in one room for five straight months during a global pandemic! We knew it would be a challenge, but we also knew we’d come out of this with an even stronger relationship. Luckily, we found logical ways to keep ourselves busy.

Since our whole time together was anything but conventional, Kim and I picked out an engagement ring together.
April 2021
SHE SAID YES.
